Wir hatten die Idee, nicht mehr mit den typischen Tierschutzslogans auf die Straße zu gehen, sondern mit meinem hübsch hergerichteten Rezept für vegane Rahmchampignon mit Semmel-Knödeln auf der einen Seite – und ein paar Zitaten für die Tiere auf der anderen Seite.

Wir hatten 500 Blatt gerollt – und mit Schleifchen versehen – schön in Jutesäcke gesteckt. Auf dem Tisch hatten wir statt Flyer für den Tierschutz viele tolle Vegane Rezeptbücher – und Rohkostbüche ausliegen. Außerdem hatte ich eine leckere Rohkost-Blaubeertorte zubereitet, die mit auf dem Tischchen stand.

Was wir heute erlebten, war grandios: die Leute blieben stehen und stellten Fragen. Als wir mit den Papierrollen mit der Frage, ob wir ihnen ein leckeres Weihnachtsrezept auf „etwas andere Art“ überreichen dürften - auf die Leute zugingen, nahmen sehr viele die Rolle spontan mit einem feierlichen Lächeln auf dem Gesicht an. „Oh, das ist aber nett! Ja – immer sehr gerne!“ Manche schauten skeptisch – und fragten, ob das keine Werbung sei. Hier ist ein Bild des Weihnachts-Flyers.

Als sie erfuhren, dass es nur ein Rezept sei, nahmen sie es gerne an. Wir wechselten uns mit dem Verteilen ab und standen zu zweit oder zu dritt auch am Tischchen und unterhielten uns mit den Leuten. Es kamen einige Leute sogar zu uns, um uns mitzuteilen, wie toll sie diese Aktion fänden… so müsse es laufen – es sei unglaublich toll… die Gespräche waren sehr freundlich und erbaulich.

Wir hatten alle das Gefühl, dass die Menschen spürten, dass hier Liebe weitergegeben wurde – und verstanden, dass dies die Art sein könnte, in der wir in Zukunft für die Tiere einen Erfolg einfahren können: nicht mehr durch die vielen blutigen Bilder und Berichte – sondern indem wir einfach die Lösung mit viel Liebe präsentieren, ohne dass den Leuten dabei klar gemacht werden müsste, dass es überhaupt eine „Lösung“ für ein Problem ist, das sie ja nicht einmal kannten. Das erreicht die Herzen – und die Menschen machen gerne mit! Es macht die Leute neugierig und interessiert auf das NEUE !

Vor der Aktion hatten wir die Engel gebeten zu helfen und die Aktion gesegnet… Wir hatten für die Verteilungsaktion mit einer Zeit von ca. 4-5 Stunden gerechnet – aber nach ca. 1 ½ Stunden hatten wir alle 500 Rollen bereits verteilt.

Da hatte ich noch eine Idee: ich fragte im Stadtcafe, ob es möglich sei, die mitgebrachte Rohkost-Torte dort zu essen, und ein heißes Getränk des Hauses dazu zu trinken und wir bekamen die Genehmigung.

Ich ging noch einmal den ganzen Platz ab, um auf der Straße zu sehen, ob es weggeworfene Rollen gab. Jemand stand gerade dort und las die Zitate, rollte die Rolle wieder zusammen und nahm sie mit. Es lagen nirgendwo Rollen herum – auch in den Abfallkörben waren keine zu sehen.

So saßen wir anschließend noch in wunderschöner Umgebung und trauter Runde und feierten unseren unglaublichen Erfolg. Ich servierte unserem Team im feierlichen Rahmen meine köstliche Blaubeer –Rohkosttorte … und konnte so auch noch zeigen, wie lecker Rohkost sein kann.

Wir gingen alle mit einem leuchtenden, lächelnden Herzen nach Hause …

Rahmchampignons mit Semmelknödeln

We had the idea of not going to the streets with the typical animal welfare slogans, but with my pretty arranged recipe for vegan crème champignons with bread dumplings - on one side - and a couple of quotes for the animals on the other side.

We had rolled 500 sheets - decorated with a colored ribbon – and nicely put in jute bags. On the table - instead of flyers for animal welfare we had many great vegan and rawfood recipe books. Also, I had prepared a delicious raw food blueberry cake which I placed nicely on this table.

What we experienced today was terrific: the people stopped and asked questions. When we started walking to the people, asking them “whether we could hand them a delicious Christmas recipe - with another method of preparation – many of the people took the paper roll spontaneously with a solemn smile on their face. "Oh, that's nice! Oh – yes with pleasure – thank you!" Some looked skeptical - and asked if it was not an advertisement. Here is a picture of the Christmas Flyer (in German language).

When they learned that it was only a recipe, they took it gladly. We took turns with the distribution and stood in twos and threes at the little table, and also talked with the people. Some people even came to us, telling us, how much they like the style of our campaign for the animals – and that is was a great think to do it our way! “It is incredibly great ... You must continue like that!” The talks were very friendly and very uplifting.

We all had the feeling that people felt that what we passed on to them - is love - and realized that this could be the way how to help the animals most … not to try to reach the people and notch up a great success by showing them bloody images and reports - but by simply presenting a vivid solution together with a bundle of love…. without the need to tell them, that this was the solution for a global problem, which they did not even know. This is the way to reach the hearts of the people – and reaching the people’s heart - and they love to join us! Because they don’t feel a pressure – but nosiness and interest for the NEW!

Before the campaign, we asked the angels to help and bless it ... For the distribution we had expected a time of about 4-5 hours. But after about 1 ½ hours we had already distributed all 500 roles.

Now I had another idea: I asked the chief of our city café, whether it was possible to eat our own raw food there, and drink any of their hot drinks - and we got the permission.

Before sitting in the café I walked round the whole place to see if there were any discarded rolls. Someone just stood there and read the quotes besides the recipe, then he rolled it back together and carried it with him. I found no roles anywhere – neither in the streets - nor in the trash cans. We were all very happy!

So we sat together then in the beautiful and intimate circle and celebrated our incredible success. I served my delicious raw food blueberry pie to our team ... and thus I could even show how delicious raw food can be.

We all went home with a bright feeling in our hearts and we felt and knew:
